Hardy, quality cattle
100% PASTURE-FED, traditional HEREFORD CATTLE
It’s a well known fact that Hereford beef is some of the finest in the world. The Traditional breed originates from nearby Herefordshire and they are hardy, fertile, small framed and have an unmatched ability to convert grass into quality meat, without the need for grain finishing.
Our cattle are managed using mob grazing techniques where they graze a specific area of pasture intensively for a short period of time before moving on, mimicking the ancient co-evolution of grazing animals, soils and grass.
Truly British pigs
THE BEST, ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS USE OF A RARE BREED
The Tamworth breed is where it all started for us. We set out to produce the best tasting pork without compromise, and our whole system has evolved from this simple ambition.
All of our pigs derive from the Tamworth breed; one of the oldest pig breeds in the world and a close match to the old English forest pig. Its genetics are far removed from all other breeds in the UK, shown in its unique eating quality and depth of flavour.
Our Tamworth pigs are a hardy, slow growing breed, which excels outdoors on our free-range farm. Their pork is second-to-none, and raising them for meat is the best way to safeguard the rare breed’s future.

Slow grown birds
OUR SUPER-FREE-RANGE CHICKENS
Each day our cattle are moved to fresh pasture and our chickens follow along behind in our custom-made eggmobiles, giving the birds space to roam, scratch through the soil, and forage. The chickens benefit from wonderfully diverse feed and forage, rewarding us with fantastic, golden yolked eggs.

SOURCING FROM TOP-QUALITY, FORWARD THINKING PARTNERS
We work with a number of neighbouring farmers and shepherds throughout the year to source our lamb. Different flocks are lambed throughout the spring and early summer to ensure we get consistently great lamb all year round.
We source our chicken from Chris and Holly at Beech Ridge poultry where they raise birds in proper free-range conditions – the chickens are free to roam, forage and graze from first light to dusk.
